Have you ever had one of those seasons where it feels like the walls are caving in?
Like you just can’t go on anymore because your plan has taken a nosedive?

That time you find yourself throwing your hands in the air and yelling, ‘that’s it… I’m done… I’m over all of this.’

Well, I’m here to encourage you.

You can go on.
You will fulfill your purpose.
You will be glad that you held on.

I write this from first hand experience.
Those in my inner circle will attest to the fact that I too have temper tantrum moments… and on occasion through the snot and tears have made some rather ridiculous comments.
Thankfully, His grace trumps it all.

I was reminded recently that at the core of walking in purpose is giving up the right to do things our way.

This reminder was all thanks to an amazing young lady (that’s a blog for another day – an old soul with the biggest heart, full of potential and promise), who (unconsciously) made me realise that it’s easier to take the lessons from the pain and press on.

Don’t fight the process.
As the purpose unfolds, there’s a process running parallel and so instead of walking/working against the grain… just surrender.

We don’t need to know all the details but simply trust implicitly that it’s all going to pan out as it should – Romans 8:28.

When we choose to walk in purpose, our feelings, emotions and self-imposed deadlines take a back seat because it’s **never** about us.

It’s about a bigger plan, all orchestrated by the Master Himself.
A purpose that drives kindness, peace, hope and compassion. A purpose that comes to life when we choose to serve with (unconditional) love.

So… wherever you find yourself in this moment, I pray that you never choose to stop living on purpose… and just trust the process.

Thank you for taking the time to read.

I woke up this morning with an extremely happy heart.
Why?
Too many reasons to mention in just one blog post.

But, I will tell you that it has everything to do with God’s immeasurable grace and how I am able to experience His faithfulness in my life, daily.

We hear the word grace being thrown around left, right and centre as though it were a cheap sweet that can be taken for granted. On the contrary.

Until we receive the revelation of what Divine grace entails, we can never truly understand or appreciate it.

Wherever you are and whatever your current situation, I pray that God’s grace enfolds, strengthens and comforts you.

Arise.
Stand firm.

Your best days are ahead of you… oh yes they are. You ain’t seen nothing yet.

Now get up and get your praise on…

Thank you for taking the time to read.

May you never grow weary of living on purpose.
May you walk with boldness and authority.
May you find the courage to embrace all Divine separations – people and places (Psalm 37:23).
May you always choose to love unconditionally.

Thank you for taking the time to read.

I’m so excited.

I’m so ready.

I’m so filled with gratitude.

This next step is everything (and more) that I’ve been praying about and preparing for.

With hindsight, all the tears, frustration and delays, make this next step worth it.

Patience + Preparation + Purpose = a very content, thankful, delighted little me.

Don’t for one minute give up. This breakthrough has made me realise that His time and plan is indeed perfect; there’s really no other way.

I shall share more over the coming weeks…

Thank you for taking the time to read.

As you prepare to embrace the last week of August, I hope you choose to be:

Bold

Committed

Resolute

Responsible

And more than anything, I hope you will choose to hold onto and have the courage of your convictions.

Let no person(s) derail you from your Divine purpose. Every single promise that God has in store will manifest as and when it should.

When you take a moment to be still, the silent whispers from your heart will remind you of your life’s purpose. Listen.

Discernment.

Obedience.

Don’t be afraid to let go of anything or anyone that makes you feel uncomfortable or unsettled. Divine connections bring peace. Point. Blank. Period.

Thank you for taking the time to read.

Boldness, commitment, Divine plan, Divine purpose, fabulous, faith, favoured, God, Husband, love, Me, Obedience, pray, Soccer, time, Us, Wife, You

This post came about as a result of me watching Manchester United in action. The boys in red bring out the best and worst in me.

That’s *my* team and I am prone to coaching from the couch. After a brief scream from having witnessed a missed goal, I then wondered about my future husband and wondered about him…

Dear Future Husband,

I must concede from the get go that I can’t wait for that moment when I finally get to say, wow, this was so worth the wait.

You see, through all the tears and frustration of “waiting”, I know that our union is more than the happy ever after chapter. Our union is more than having a significant other, the exchange and expression of true love and memories created; we have a Divine purpose to fulfill.

That Divine plan can only unfold and be realised through grace, open hearts, unwavering faith and a deep commitment to walk boldly and in complete obedience. I know that we have much to do as individuals and as a couple; and that thought excites me.

Have I mentioned that I can’t wait to spend the rest of my life with you?!

I pray for you daily and smile with appreciation at the fact that God has you secured safely in the palm of His hand; waiting for that perfect time.

I often wonder whether we’ve met before…
I often wonder if you’re the one that I’ve been secretly crushing on.
I often wonder if you’re the one that I met on that overcast day in that hospital ward – no words exchanged just a look that spoke volumes, sent my pulse and heart rate to the moon and left me at a complete loss for words.

I guess only time will tell…

And so my love, as I return to the second half of this Manchester United game, I know that our forever is going to be worth the wait.

Till then I hope that you too will keep the faith.

Your one & only,
Future Wife

Blessing, Breakthrough, Divine plan, fabulous, favoured, God, Overflow, season, Sing, Victory, wisdom, Worship

This is just a little reminder that as you continue to walk into your season of overflow (there’s no looking back – roger that!)… that patience is key.

When life happens, you may well be tempted to do things differently… and your mind might give you 1000 000 reasons to justify something that’s not part of the Divine plan.

Stop.

Resist the urge to deviate from this path or, act impulsively.

Find refuge in worship/ quiet time with the Father. Some of my favourites include: Don Moen (Be Magnified), Israel Houghton (Overflow), Vashawn Mitchell (Nobody Greater), Tamela Mann (Take it to the King)…

If you stumbled upoon this page then I’d like to encourage you:

You are on the final home stretch… can you see the finish line and the chorus of angels cheering?!

Your breakthrough is closer than you think.

Stand firm.

Oh wonderful person reading this, please know that the complete and utter joy that will fill your days once you’ve learnt, accepted and are willing to live through the lessons from your wilderness, is beyond anything that you could possibly imagine.

No matter how daunting the trials may appear it’s not over till God has the last word.

Keep your eyes on the Cross… expect only great things and as you continue to mature in the Lord, know that not only are you guaranteed of victory… but He will also give you the wisdom and strategy to take the next step.

Divine plan, fabulous, favoured, introspection, Obedience, purpose, reflect, thank you, Think

With June coming to an end, it’s the perfect time to check whether you’re on track.

More importantly, is your idea of being on track in line with the Divine plan/ purpose for your life?

**put your thinking cap on**

I’ll leave you to get your praise on 🙌🙌🙌… and do some introspection. I will add though that walking in complete obedience is not by your own strength or might but purely by His grace.

Thank you for taking the time to read.

This is a gentle reminder that no matter what you go through in life, there’s a Divine plan in place.

Disappointments, disagreements and heartache all have an expiration date. YOU are more than enough for the people who are meant to be part of your journey.

Be strong, stand tall and smile.

Positive thoughts and action will always trump a negative vibe. You best believe that. Oh yeah!

A little reminder that as a change agent you run the risk of being rejected. That’s fine.

Do you know why?

Because for as long as it’s clear in your heart and mind that your mission is to serve and not win a popularity contest, you will succeed.

Reality check: it’s never about you… there’s a Divine plan at play.

Choose this day to keep walking in love and kindness… and then see mountains move.

Thank you for taking the time to read.
